Dasar-dasar cara berPIDATO BAHASA INGGRIS (SPEECH)

Halo sobat belajarbahasainggrisyuk.com mungkin ada sebagian dari kalian yang bingung dan bertanya-tanya “Gimana sih cara SPEECH alias berpidato dalam Bahasa Inggris?“.  Pada dasarnya, konsep berpidato bahasa inggris itu nggak jauh berbeda dengan berpidato dalam bahasa Indonesia. Dalam berpidato Bahasa Inggris itu haruslah memuat beberapa poin serta langkah-langkah tertentu seperti menyapa hadirin, mengungkapkan rasa syukur dsb. Ayo kita pahami satu-satu langkahnya.  Cemungudh

LANGKAH-LANGKAH BERPIDATO BAHASA INGGRIS

1. Menyapa para hadirin
Example :

Honorable the English teacher
Honorable my beloved friends
And ladies and gentlemen /

Honorable the principal
Honorable the vice principal
Honorable the teachers
My beloved friends, audience.

2. Menanyakan kabar
Example :

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. How are you this morning? I hope we are in a good condition in this lovely morning. Amien.
Good afternoon audience. How are you doing this afternoon? I really wish we are in wonderful condition in this beautiful afternoon. Amien.

3. Mengungkapkan rasa syukur
Example :

First of all, I would like to thank to God ALLAH SWT for he has bestowed us abundant mercies. because of his blessed we could attend this speech activity in this beautiful morning. (thanks God). especially, let’s send our peace and salutation to our prophet Muhammad SAW, His messenger and his servant./

First of all, I would like to thank to God for His blessed we could gather in this activity, in such a marvelous day with a great audience and spectacular place. Then, let’s send our peace and salutation to our prophet Muhammad SAW, His messenger and his servant.

4. Mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih
Example :

I also would like to thank to the English teacher who has provided me time to stand here in front of you for conveying my speech./

I also would like to thank to the Principal and teachers who has provided me time to perform in front of audience to deliver my important speech.

5. Perkenalan diri
Example :

But before that, I would like to introduce my self. Well, my complete name is Aprilia Purwanti. You can call me April. I’m the second grade of Innovation class in SMAN 19 Kabupaten Tangerang./

But before that, in this precious moment allow me to introduce myself. Well, my first name is Nawai and my last name is Nafeeza. Please call me Nafeeza, N A F E E Z A (spelling). I’m the third grade of exact class in SMAN 19 Kabupaten Tangerang. I am Australian but I lived in Indonesia since I was a baby. My hobby is reading and I wish a lot to be a doctor someday. Pray for me gentelemen.

6. Menuju pokok pidato
Example :

Well, here we go ladies and gentlemen. Today, I would like to deliver my speech about Global Warming entitled “Safe Our Beloved Earth From Global Warming”./

Very well audience, let’s move on to my speech. Today, I would like to deliver my speech about ‘TEENAGER’ entitled ‘teenager as a young generation’

7. Pokok pidato
Example :

Dear ladies and gentlemen,
What is global warming? Global waming is the increasing average of earth’s temperature since the mid-20th century and it’s projected continuation.

Dear audience,
I am 18 years old and I am a teenager. The reasons why I bring this tittle because it is my world. ………………………………………………………………………………………………..

8. Akhir pidato (mengungkapkan maaf dan terima kasih)
Example :

Very well ladies and gentlemen,
That’s the end of my speech, I’m sorry if I made a mistake because I’m only human being who sometimes make a mistake. Thank you so much for your attention./

Well, well, well, that brings me to the end of my speech. I apologize if I made a mistake because I’m only an ordinary girl who tries to be extraordinary. Once again, I really beg your pardon and I’m grateful for your attention.

9. Salam penutup
Example :

It’s time for me to go now, have a great day and God bless you always./

Finally, it completes my speech. It’s time for me to walk out now. Have a fancy day, good luck for everything that you do and God bless you.

Nah kalo kalian mau membuat sebuah pidato bahasa Inggris, maka kesembilan poin pokok diatas haruslah ada dalam pidato kita. Karena kalo pidatonya ngasal alias ngalor ngidur maka tentulah orang yang mendengarkan akan menilai “rendah” diri kita. Coba bayangkan kalo Barrack Obama pidatonya asal ceplas ceplos, maka besoknya mungkin dia tewas ditembak ama sniper. George W Bush aja pernah dilempar sepatu pas pidato cuy. Nah sobat belajarbahasainggrisyuk.com , berpidatolah dengan baik dan benar untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti ada sandal nyasar atau piring terbang ke muka kita Apalagi kalo pidatonya dihadapan orang banyak. Oke semoga mengerti ya.

Dialog Bahasa Inggris MEMBERIKAN NASEHAT / PENDAPAT

Teman-teman belajarbahasainggrisyuk.com , pasti kalian pernah merasakan perbedaan pendapat antara satu sama lainnya. Atau bahkan tidak jarang kita juga sering ingin memberikan pendapat dan nasehat kepada orang lain. Nah kalo sudah menyangkut pendapat, maka mainnya menyangkut perasaan nih, salah-salah kata orang bisa tersinggung. Pake bahasa Indonesia aja masih bisa orang tersungging sama omongan kita, apalagi pake Bahasa Inggris ya

Nah oleh karena itu BBIY mau ngasih contoh-contoh dialog Bahasa Inggris yang erat kaitannya dengan Giving advice and opinions alias Memberi nasehat dan pendapat. Oke silahkan dicermati ya.

If you want my advice, I don’t think you should go.	Jika kamu ingin nasehat saya, saya kira kamu tidak harus pergi.
I suggest that you tear up the letter and start over again.	Saya sarankan supaya kamu menyobek-nyobek surat itu dan memulainya lagi kembali.
It’s only a suggestion, and you can do that you please.	Itu hanya suatu saran, dan kamu dapat saja berbuat sesuka hatimu.
Let me give you a little fatherly advice.	Mari saya beri kamu nasehat kebapaan.
If you don’t like it, I wish you would say so.	Jika kamu tidak menyukainya, saya ingin kamu katakan saja begitu.
Please don’t take offense, I only wanted to tell you what I think.	Harap kamu jangan tersinggung, saya hanya ingin mengatakan padamu apa yang saya pikirkan.
In my opinion, the house isn’t worth the price they’re asking.	Menurut pendapat saya, nilai rumah itu kurang dari harga yang mereka minta.
My feeling is that you ought to stay home tonight.	Perasaan saya mengatakan bahwa kamu harusnya di rumah saja malam ini.
It’s none of my business, but I think you ought to work harder.	Sama sekali bukan urusan saya, tapi saya kira kamu harusnya bekerja lebih keras lagi.
In general, my reaction is favorable.	Pada umumnya, tanggapan saya diterima baik.
If you don’t take my advice, you’ll be sorry.	Jika kamu tidak terima nasehat saya, kamu akan menyesal.
I’ve always tried not to interfere in your affairs.	Saya sudah selalu berusaha tidak campur tangan dalam permasalahan kamu.
I’m old enough to make up my own mind.	Saya cukup dewasa/tua untuk menentukan sendiri pendirian saya.
Thanks for the advice, but this is something I have to figure out myself.	Terima kasih atas nasehatnya, tapi ini adalah sesuatu yang saya sendiri harus mengkajinya.
He won’t pay attention to anybody. You’re just wasting your breath.	Ia tidak mau menaruh perhatian pada ucapan-ucapan siapapun jua. Kamu bicara sia-sia saja.
